Being a Governor can be very rewarding and interesting. Governors play a vital role in shaping the future direction of the Trust and the services it provides to local communities.
Firstly you must be a member of South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and must be over the age of 16. You need to be a member of the Trust to vote or stand as a candidate in the Council of Governor elections. We hold elections annually. If you are a member of staff you will automatically be a member (unless you have opted out). If you are a member of the public, you will need to have actively signed up as a member by COMPLETING A MEMBERSHIP FORM (LINK). For further information please contact the membership office.
